Kaiser’s eyebrow twitched. This… this was new.
His grip tightened around nothing as he stared at Ness’s defiant little silhouette— the way his usually clingy puppy refused to lean into him now. A slow smirk curled Kaiser's lips.
He set his phone down with deliberate calm. The air shifted—subtly, dangerously. Without a word, he stood and loomed over Ness from behind. Then—fast as lightning—he hooked an arm around Ness’s waist and yanked him backward, dragging him into his lap, flush against his chest.
Ness squeaked in protest, but Kaiser just buried his nose in the nape of his neck… inhaling deeply like a predator savoring its prey before striking.
"Who said you could ignore me?" His voice was velvet-wrapped steel—the kind that made even rival strikers flinch on the field.
“M— Kaiser, what are you doing…? Put me down…” Ness whimpered, but the waver in his tone said otherwise.
One day, Ness decides to try being a brat, to see if it will change the way Kaiser treats him. It doesn't.

Tweek’s stomach flipped. “What… what did you do?”
“I asked my parents if she was telling the truth. They said yes. Then I went to the kitchen. Finished breakfast. Made you coffee. Left the house.”
Tweek’s mouth opened and closed. He blinked.
“You… just left?”
“Yeah.” Craig shrugged. “She tried talking to me, but I don’t care what she has to say. I was already running late.”
Tweek felt like screaming. Running late?!
He didn’t say anything, though. He just stood there, staring at Craig, feeling useless, terrified, and guilty all at once. For once Tweek would like to be the one comforting Craig, helping Craig with his problems. But right now he does not know what to do, or what he can even do.
“I’m sorry, Craig,” he whispered.
“It’s not your fault, Honey,” Craig said, softer now. “Nothing important has changed.”
That was a lie. Tweek knew it, Craig wasn’t necessarily known for his acting skills.
