So today, Ted found himself out in the late afternoon sunshine, his laptop propped on his thighs, a few different reports on his screen. He had to admit he wasn’t paying much attention, that his mind kept wandering with every noise he heard around him. The cars driving, people walking together, even a few dogs barking.
