Summary
Ramona "Mona" Barnes is a dutiful daughter in a small town wrestling with forbidden desire for her best friend Esme Hunt, her mother's control, and the guilt of being both a caretaker to her little sister Mary and a woman with secret wants. Fatal Familial Insomnia (FFI) can be passed down from certain generations, specifically from a biological parent. There is usually a history of infectants in the family's generation, being able to pass it down upon generations.
Ah, but unfortunately for our beloved Yoisaki Kanade... she had no idea her mom was diagnosed with this illness. Her father never told her when she was young, believing it would be better to have it kept a secret for her own sanity.
