But you looked like you were gonna pass out in a bathroom stall, and… whatever, it’s not that deep.” He lit the cigarette. “Just don’t go getting any ideas.”
Namgyu frowned. “I’m not. You’re the one who’s been weird all night.”
“Yeah, well,” Thanos exhaled smoke through his nose. “That was before I found out you’re barely old enough to vote. Now I’m just being decent.”
There was a pause. Namgyu mumbled, almost defensively, “I’m not a virgin, by the way.”
Thanos raised an eyebrow and barked a laugh. “Dude. You don’t need to prove shit to me."

It goes like this: Katsuki’s feelings for the stupid Half ‘n’ half bastard are an indefinable thing somewhere in the realm of rivals-but-not-enemies and friends-but-not-platonic, all of which Kirishima says leaves a pretty obvious conclusion, which Katsuki ignores. This lasts for a fairly solid period of time, until one of their last nights back at UA, when Katsuki fucks up inconceivably, and actually goddamn kisses the bastard.
It goes like this: Todoroki never says a word about it, so Katsuki doesn’t either. If they’re pretending it never happened—or if, fuck, Todoroki somehow managed to forget—then that’s -- fine. Fucking peachy, even.

Looking at him head on is even worse than looking at him from farther off—this dude is so good looking it makes the back of his neck prickle.
He gives Katsuki a bare minimum facial expression that he’s gonna guess suggests vague “sorry you have to get out of your seat to let me into mine” sympathy and tilts his head, red hair coming untucked from behind his ear and spilling into a fine curtain around his face.

Most of the time he can't bear to be touched, especially from behind or anywhere near the back of his neck. Which means his regularly scheduled haircuts are absolutely out of the question. It's fine, he's coping, he's dealing with it—his hair grows out long, longer than it's ever been, and that's fine too.
Until it isn't. But Todoroki being in the right place at the wrong time in the communal boys bathroom as Katsuki is shaving his entire head in a fit of late night mania might just be the solution—one that spans years—that neither of them were looking for.

The jacket looks well-loved—clearly worn frequently and decorated with intention. Speaks of a long term attachment that only someone dedicated to a specific item achieves.
