At the end of our childhoods, a ‘thread’ manifests. It is said that on the other end is the being with whom our essence resonates most deeply within the universe. But the Weave does not promise certainty.

    Or

Jon remembers the day he discovered that Kryptonians can see the red thread of fate; the idea, the thread keeps him sane in his worst moments on the volcano , but will time forgive fate?

    Summary

“Superboy, I don’t think I need to remind you of what to do.” Damian spoke, his voice flat and with purpose.

Jonathan’s eyes locked onto Damian’s again, his brow slightly furrowed. Jonathan listened to Damian’s heartbeat; he noticed there was a slight rhythm change. His heart rate quickened, just a little bit. A thought vehemently formulated in Jon's mind, a spark of a challenge.

Something shifted in the way Jonathan stood, Damian noticed, his eyes slowly morphing into the way it looked like on the battlefield. It was the way those damn eyes looked at him, like he was begging yet challenging, that awoken something primal in Damian.

“Right, but I wouldn’t mind it if you did.” Jonathan drawled; he spoke quickly and with earnest. His cheeks were slightly flushed, and his gaze flickered lower at Damian’s lips, “I’ll even say please.”

Or, the one where Jonathan and Damian intensely start flirting with each other, on the battlefield.

“Obviously you haven’t had the privilege to see the newspaper today. You’re in it.”

There was an annoyed response, sounding deep with sleep

    “I usually am.”

Clark was struggling to keep his calm now.

“Yes, well, I’m also in the newspaper. According to your beloved city, we are homosexual lovers that came out of the closet last night.”

Bruce turned to face him at that, one eyebrow rose up in surprise.

    “Huh. That’s a new one.”

    Summary

Jon would say it's love. Others would call it obsession. Whatever it was, it's landed him inside the League of Assassins after Damian's fallout with Bruce forced the youngest Robin to return to his ancestral home. Will Jon manage to keep his sense of justice, family ties and sanity untouched while living inside the world's largest assassination syndicate? Or will the price for loving Damian al Ghul prove to be too much to bear?

~Jon breathed the melody in, and kissed the pulse, again and again, sprinkling it with reverent kisses. The very same pulse which held him grounded to this world and his own sense of self, his anchor in more ways than one.

    Update: New 5th chapter added!

    Summary

When Damian traces the source of a lethal new party drug to Metropolis University, it only makes sense to go undercover as a student to ferret out the culprits. He doesn't expect to run into Met U student Jon Kent, and he definitely doesn't expect to get mistaken for Jon's boyfriend. But hey, what harm could it do to play along?

This is going to get complicated fast.
