Summary
"You keep saying that," he mutters instead.
"Wha'?"
"Boyfriend. Don't you think it sounds a little... juvenile?"
Kazuha hums, contemplative, as his eyes briefly slip shut. "Husband."
"H-Huh?!"
Kazuha's eyes open again, innocent and honest. "Why not husband?"
Or: Kazuha and Kunikuzushi go to a carnival, Kazuha gets a little (a lot) drunk, and they have a conversation that probably shouldn't be had when one of the two is barely coherent.

Summary
Denji was such a malleable, frazzled mess of a boy. He chased his tail without knowing why he needed to catch it in the first place. Even if it was trivial, Yoshida wanted to throw him some new tennis balls to chew—if he wasn’t at least doing that, then he was failing, wasn’t he? Maybe Denji would let him rub his belly if he showed him a good time. Maybe he could take a shred of the grief and uncertainty off of his shoulders.

Summary
The beaming rays of the sun that pierces their skin hot enough to make them sweat all over.
The sound of crickets and birds that commingle with the drop of the drink he's been drinking seemingly forming a chorus that fills the awkward silence that hungs in the air.
And the silence so deafening that Kunikuzushi couldn't deal with it anymore."You're... not Kazuha, are you?"
Slowly, an uncanny entity creeps its way out of Kazuha's eyes.
And just like that, Kunikuzushi's life shattered.

Summary
"...Scaramouche."
"Kaedehara."
"Why are there books everywhere?"
Scaramouche shrugs, a calm monolith in the chaos of their shared room. "Tried moving them around with Anemo. Didn't work."
"I didn't know you studied Anemo."
"I don't," Scaramouche replies easily. "That's why it didn't work."
Or: Over the course of his studies at the Akademiya, Kazuha learns that his troublesome roommate may not actually be that troublesome after all. Also, they adopt a cat.
