Summary
“That’s my name. Takahiro,” he said, hesitating for a moment before shyly peering up at him again, “Just Takahiro.”
It was spoken in a soft voice, barely above a whisper, but the name reminds Toru of nobleness, of greatness and of prosperity.
Suddenly, he found their surroundings unfitting for this obviously rich-looking young man.
The snow that fell on the pavement and all around the streets was too cold and the thick clouds above them were so dense, dark and obscuring the moon and stars beyond. The streets were cold, almost in monotone and the only warmth that can be found was the street lamps that emits burst of gold, scattered along the road and the few shops which are still opened this late at night.
It wasn’t right—wasn’t fitting—but it was still beautiful.
