Summary
Cole had known this, he’d known Nya had forgotten. It had been on the front page of every newspaper, in every heartbreaking interview, a year ago. His eyes traced the soft curve of her nose, the arch of her eyebrows, the dark hang of her hair, the lightness in her fingertips. He had known this was what she’d become: the sea. Nya, the sea.
OR,
Nya forgets. Cole remembers. -

“Mulder, I don’t see anything.”
“You don’t see that?” he was grinning, not tearing his eyes from the sky or his hand from her shoulder.
Scully couldn’t decide between rolling her eyes and laughing. She laughed. “See what, Mulder?”

Summary
The thing about all these clones, CRAYDL thought defeatedly, is that they really do look like him. The bossman, who could always be iterated a hundred times over.
CRAYDL wasn’t expecting Plan B to feel so much like a betrayal.
-
After his confrontation with Max Mercury and Impulse in the speed force, Inertia disappeared into the lightning winds, and did not return.
CRAYDL, after too long deliberating, finally activates the failsafes; created in case of the first Inertia's death.
Because Project Inertia would always, inevitably, continue.
But Thaddeus Thawne the Second is very much alive. And he can't help continuing just the same.- Language:

Summary
This is a series of vignettes from the end of a story that can never actually end. In that way, these words can hardly be said to exist at all.
Now showing: Jason shudders, shaking himself. “Yeah. Yeah, James Blonde, I’ve fuckin’ retired, I guess. Hey, enough about my bullshit, what—”

Summary
There was an acute sense of shame making its way through Wally’s body. He felt heat rise in his cheeks. And what kind of father, what kind of person would need to check constantly that his children were still there in the bassinet, would distrust the baby monitors, would surge awake half a dozen times in one night with a panicky feeling in his ribs that insisted they weren't really there? Not a normal one, certainly.
Or: Wally West is the fastest man alive. He's also a father now. Turns out he has a lot to learn from his twin babies. It also turns out nothing stays buried forever, no matter how much he wishes it could.

Summary
No one had touched Bart Allen until he was twelve years old. Well- that wasn’t quite true. His mother had touched him, surely, and it made sense that the Dominators had since they had kidnapped him. The lab technicians had definitely touched him in the process of hooking him into the machines. But that was so long ago, and he couldn’t remember any of it. Maybe none of it was even real.
The first few moments of Bart’s rebirth were cold. The wires dropped from his head, un-inserting themselves like limp spaghetti noodles. The blinding white of the Earthgov lab blared suddenly across his vision, replacing the green countryside he’d been in just seconds before. Bart had crumpled, a marionette without his strings, curling in on himself on the floor of the tank.
Or: an exploration of one Bartholomew Allen during Impulse 1995.
