What started out as a spur-of-the-moment light up between timid roommates would become so much more in due time. The ever-so popular Galinda Upland and the not-so popular Elphaba Thropp explore their close interactions with each other during a series of smoke sessions, where it would become apparent that there is a budding romance between the two women. Perhaps the marijuana is (literally) clouding their judgment or maybe those flickering glances and awkward flirtations are much more than they appear…

For the first time, Galinda sat down in the room, on the armchair across from Elphaba’s desk. She perched on the very edge of it with her legs primly crossed at the ankles, as if she was preparing to run. Galinda’s sunburn bloomed a soft pink on the high arc of her cheekbones, the bridge of her nose… which was dotted with freckles, as Elphaba would have noticed if she’d cared to look more closely. Galinda’s summer dress hung loosely over her legs.
With great effort, Elphaba averted her gaze.--

Summary
Glinda learns how to cope in Oz with Elphaba's apparent death, the only thing keeping her sane is knowing that Fiyero is out there across the Ozian borders keeping Elphaba safe, and that maybe, just maybe Elphaba gets her chance to be happy with him. Glinda struggles to settle into her new life without the prominent figure of Elphaba by her side, while simultaneously guiding all of Oz through its new transition of power. Will she be able to achieve all of Elphaba's dreams? Will she truly never see the green witch she came to, dare she say, love again?
