Summary
Luz Noceda was not normal--everyone at Gravesfield High knew that. Even the kids who hadn’t been witnesses to her antics had heard about them second- or third-hand. She’d gotten kicked out of cheerleading from being gross, had been to the principal’s office too many times for anyone to keep an accurate count, and had even been called “too extra” by the theatre kids of all people.
Everyone had known it was only a matter of time before her parents would get involved and try to straighten her out. And sure enough, just as June came around, the word broke out: Luz Noceda was off to “Reality Check Summer Camp.” Her friendlier classmates--not friends, she didn’t exactly have many of those--had hoped that she wouldn’t hate it too much. The less compassionate students at Gravesfield High started making bets about how soon she’d start causing trouble there, too.
What nobody expected was for it to actually work.
or:
What if Luz was in the demon realm for a bit longer than just the summer?

Summary
“Oh my god, Hunter. This is so bad,” Luz says.
“Yeah, well, everything about me is bad, so.”
And it’s true. He’s been bad the second the came out of the ground. Maybe Belos made him this way on purpose (he’ll always be a thing, first and foremost), but there’s fundamentally something so disgusting about him that forces him to have to kick and scream just to be noticed by anyone. It’s pathetic how he has to give up every bit of his stolen body and artificial soul to make people stay, but that’s just his life. It’s how it’s been, and how it always will be.
Or: Learning to live without Belos is hard.

Summary
This is a sister story (pun intended) to The Owl House that follows Vee's adventures in the human realm. It explores what it's like for Vee to come to a new world with entirely new rules and have to learn it all from scratch. As well as dealing with her past, what it made her and who she is now. It is meant to run concurrently to the show proper and I have done my best to keep it within the canon.
This is the second time I've tried writing fanfiction (the first was awful and will never again see the light of day) and by far the longest thing I've ever written. I've never needed chapters before. As such I welcome critique and corrections. If you see something, say something. The comments so far have been a great help to improving my writing and I've enjoyed reading every one.
Lastly, I'm now on day 556 of Duolingo Spanish, and if my Google translate skills aren't up to snuff let me know. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy.

Summary
Eda had once rebuked the phrase that a life well lived was the best revenge. It was awfully good, she had said, but nothing quite beats the good fashioned fun of humiliation.
(Or, the squad realising in their own ways that they need to move on from the Boiling Isles.)
