En el mundo de la novela web “The Survival for the Crown” (o, “La Supervivencia por la Corona”), el villano principal de la historia, Kim Dokja, es poseído por un trabajador asalariado común con el mismo nombre que conoce la trama de la historia, junto con el hecho de que su personaje estaba destinado a morir.
En un intento por evitar su muerte y alterar el curso de su personaje, deja de cortejar a la protagonista femenina y trata de evitar a su rival romántico, el responsable de su eventual muerte.

Chan’s room was cozy, with various trinkets and knick-knacks lined up on shelves and a reasonably sized desk. The walls were a boring shade of grey, but everything inside the room was so personal and properly picked out that it didn’t matter. When Chan was in the room, even grey looked vivid.
Jeongin was the only toy on the bed. From where he was tucked between the pillows, he tried to look for others like him, but came out short. He would have assumed that Chan had at least a small collection of stuffed toys, if he judged by the excited laugh that toppled Chan’s mouth when he got Jeongin—but there was nothing.
There was only Jeongin.
