For #MekaMechanicWeek24
New team. New friendships. New feelings.
Everyone carries their own burdens; they fight their own battles. Sometimes that weight can be exhausting, and the will to fight can waver.
Even through the honor and glory, the weariness can creep in.
Sometimes, it's not enough to wait until the battle is over, to fix what was battered.
If you can fight at their side, help carry some of that weight, you can keep them from falling. You could even protect them from themselves. They just have to be willing to accept help and allow their shields to be broken, in order to build them back up stronger.

Summary
Enid could not, for the life of her, look away.
Bianca spoke. It didn’t matter. Enid couldn’t bring herself to hear a thing. Everything other than Wednesday Addams was irrelevant, it dissipated into the void, ceasing to exist.
[ Or, in Paris 1979, Wednesday Addams, now an internationally acclaimed cellist, and Enid Sinclair, now the face of avant-garde fashion, reunite unexpectedly after an unresolved romance and years without contact due to a rupture in letter correspondence. ]
