Damon scoffs. “Spit it out.”
Toshiko gasps dramatically and points an accusatory finger at him. “I am here to ask when you are finally going to profess your true love to Kai Monteago for I can no longer take to watching this rather devastating slowburn for another day!”
“What?” Damon croaks, his voice barely above a whisper.
