i’d live this every dayHanbin always knew that he would see the end. He felt it deep down, a fleeting pull from his intuition, something too nihilistic for a character like himself to ever admit out loud. But oh, he knew. He just didn’t expect it to be like this.

Summary
There are two things that Hanbin knows, looking at his face so closely. The first is that he loves Zhang Hao. That he wants every part of him, wholly and desperately. The second is that there is something wrong with him.
“You’re not who I think you are, are you,” Hanbin states, his lips brushing against Zhang Hao’s as he speaks.
Zhang Hao’s lip quirks up. “Speak clearly, Hanbin,” he chides, neither denying the accusation or questioning him. Hanbin’s entire body crushes under the weight of the question he knows he must ask, and he has to take a gasping breath to continue.
“You’re not human, are you?"

Summary
Hanbin is so eager, almost heartbreakingly so. What would've happened to him if he never met Zhang Hao? He's unfailingly bright, a star that can't help but to draw light inwards and glow from the attention. The world would've chewed him up and spit him out. Thank God he has Zhang Hao to look out for him, to always be following one step behind, to drag him away and hide him when greedy hands try and covet him. That's a right that only Zhang Hao has earned.

In the end, there’s no jigsaw falling into place. There’s no gradual realisation, no growing suspicion, no hmm, that was kinda weird. Of course there isn’t — Zhang Hao wasn’t aware he should be on the lookout for fucking vampires. Least of all his boyfriend being an actual, honest-to-God vampire.
Zhang Hao always thought his biggest problem in his final year of school would be the college entrance exam.
