Summary
Tsukasa is a dazzling, lively guy—or so he appears and thinks of himself—until a “weirdo” named Rui Kamishiro comes into his life.
As they grow closer, Tsukasa realizes that the people around him—especially those who should love him unconditionally—are actually mentally unstable, and, without knowing it, so is he.On the other hand, as time goes on, Rui falls into a spiral of suffering because he placed his trust in someone who would cause him almost irreversible harm.
How are two broken souls supposed to come together without breaking even more?

Knock, knock, knock.
Three knocks on his door interrupted his thoughts, loud and concise.
Who could it be at this hour?
He was too tired to deal with some bullshit from a door to door salesman or some religious nutcase. But he had a gut feeling that he should probably open the door. Getting up from his slouched position on the couch and rubbing his eyes, Tsukasa slowly opened the door.
“No, I’m not interested in-...” His statement trailed off as he took in the sight in front of him.
What he found was a man clutching his right side, which was covered in blood. He had a black eye, a split lip and skin littered with cuts and bruises. His purple hair was tied back in a small ponytail and his glasses were broken, split in half in the middle.

Tsukasa is a stuggling literature major trying to find his missing sister. But a mysterious man knocking on his door at midnight completely changes everything for Tsukasa as he tries to navigate his way through a world of deception, crime and (eventual) heartbreak.

Rui Kamishiro breaks every one of them.
What begins as a chase through rain-slick alleys turns into something far more dangerous when Tsukasa starts questioning the system he has spent his life defending. Rui claims the city is built on lies, and Tsukasa wants to prove him wrong.
The problem is, Rui keeps giving him reasons to believe him.
