Summary
When Alastor dies in 1933, he expects Hell.
What he does not expect is to wake in the in-between, face to face with Michael, the prince of Heaven, and be offered a bargain. All in exchange of protecting one Lucifer Morningstar, no less!
Alastor agrees for practical reasons.
Then everything becomes inconvenient because what begins as a mission becomes something far messier as Alastor is drawn into the world of these two angels. There are too many feelings involved and that's certainly not what he bargained for!(Someone please help this dumb deer.)

Alastor stared death in the face. As long as you never get the satisfaction of seeing me break, I don’t care what happens, he thought.
But he felt raw and broken.
It was poetic that, in the end, the two rivals had succeeded in dragging each other to the brink of insanity.
If only Alastor could find the humor in that. If only he could feel anything at all.
Or, Alastor’s plan wasn’t meant to be pleasant. Unfortunately, he had misunderstood Vox’s intentions all those years ago and was thoroughly unprepared to deal with the direction his imprisonment took him. Transformers One had so much MegOp! Potential that I need to rectify this situation.Author didn't like the scene where D-16 willingly drops Orion, so they decide to rewrite the movie just enough that it changes everything.
