He gets up slowly, turning towards the bot responsible for all of this, his optics once the purest gold now shone with the brightest red.

Allying with that horde of fleshlings who call themselves Cobra might not have been the brightest decision made by Lord Megatron, but their leader needed Decepticon aid in recovering a major stronghold, which the Autobots have taken for themselves. Megatron's given his oath, before Primus no less, but Earthmen are soft and useless, everyone knows it, and the whole Decepticon army expects this fragile alliance to be broken once the mission is complete, it doesn't matter whether he likes the other leader or not.
Either way, the Commander would retake Echo Hills for his brethren, and stop being Megatron's problem.
