Summary
It began with a loaf of bread at a campus festival.

Note: This story runs parallel to my other fic: I'll be your star (part one in the series). The timelines overlap at one point, and you’ll see familiar characters (Byeol, Seonghwa, Hongjoong, Wooyoung, San, Yeosang, Jongho). You don’t need to read both to understand either (I think), but together they form a shared “found family” universe.

Mingi always thought he wasn’t the greatest at math, but after almost hitting a stranger with his car, he reckons he didn’t give himself credit where credit is due.

Summary

“Yunho!"
The shout cuts through the night like a blade, sharp and unexpected. Yunho stops cold, his shoulders tensing as he spins around. His eyes narrow instinctively.
There, scurrying under the hazy glow of a flickering streetlight, is a tall figure. Broad-shouldered. Familiar. The silhouette is unmistakable, even with his hood up and hands stuffed into his jacket pockets.
Mingi.
Yunho's stomach twists. He knew he saw him. Back at the bar, in the crowd. He wasn't hallucinating.

Yunho and Mingi haven’t spoken in years. There’s something raw between them—tender in the way an old wound is, better left undisturbed. Yunho has done his best to mend it on his own, stitching the pain into something quiet, something survivable. He’s forgiven Mingi for what happened between them, even if the blame was shared. Mingi, meanwhile, just wants a chance to say he’s sorry. But every time Yunho faces him, it feels like Mingi reaches into his chest—hands pressing into old bruises, only to touch them softly.
