Summary
Kevin's parents had always known that something was a little different about their son, and they weren't quite sure on how they should deal with it. But when a new opportunity to "fix" him pops up, they immediately take it.

It’s an expensive surgery, so saving up for it, as well as the consultations needed for it, wasn’t a small feat. But now they were finally at the point where he had a scheduled date for it.”
