Summary
Viktor's decision to play a little prank on the man next to him on the airplane almost backfires when he claims an attractive but dangerous-looking stranger is his husband. But much to Viktor's delight, the man goes along with the prank.
Jayce's on-the-spot decision to play along with some kind of prank he's walked into almost backfires on when the passenger he's helping to prank suggests visiting a chapel once they've landed to "renew their vows" and tags along to serve as their witness.
But there's a spark between them that neither can deny, and when Jayce suggests that they take a honeymoon trip to give their fake-but-real marriage a trial run, Viktor is intrigued enough to agree.

Summary
"How have you not changed the locks on your window yet? This has to be the seventh time now-” Viktor muttered to himself as he quickly picked the lock on the balcony windows. It was a low blow, but Jayce wouldn’t be in his lab because of his condition- it was an opportunity he couldn’t waste. That’s what he thought, at least, until a bullet dinged off his armour as soon as he had cracked the door open. Fucking Kirramen’s.
So now he was breaking into Jayce’s penthouse. His mask would filter out any pheromones that might muddle his thinking, and surely Jayce would be… otherwise occupied. ‘By himself.’ his mind preened with satisfaction. The doors swung open silently, oiled and tightened to perfection no doubt, and Viktor stepped inside.

“I can hear you just fine,” Jayce says, “you don’t have to say mean things to make me prove it.”
“Can you?” Viktor asks, purposefully turning his head and lowering his voice.
“What?” Jayce asks.
Viktor just shakes his head.

Jayce and Viktor survive the arcane and find their cottage by the stream, but Viktor slowly realizes Jayce has lost most of his hearing and Jayce slowly learns how to ask for the things he needs.

“Oh, god, tell me there wasn’t an explosion in your lab.”
Powder rolls her eyes with exaggeration before replying, “Not a --” she mimed an explosion, complete with a boom sound effect “-- more of a --” she wiggled her fingers, making a faint hissing sound. This, frankly, did little to comfort Jayce.
Ekko decided to take pity on him at this point by saying, “There wasn’t a fire, or anything like that. Just…” He trailed off, cringing.
Was Jayce actively going gray? He swears he could practically feel his hairs turning gray from stress at this point. “Just what?”
“Just… kinda embarrassing. Maybe a little cute?”

Jayce is summoned to the Piltover Academy, concerned that Something has happened to his husband. Much to his frustration, no one seems willing to tell him what exactly that Something was. To top it off, for some reason, people keep pointing at him and whispering, and they all seem very interested in his phone background
