Summary
The concept of falling in love at first sight had always seemed absurd to Seonghwa. You can, he believed, have someone catch your eye, and then discover more of their personality over the course of a conversation, and then let the feeling bloom in your chest for a few days, weeks, maybe even months. And to argue against the first sight of it, he had seen Hongjoong before in pictures on the cast book he was handed a few days before their first time shooting together, and Hongjoong was pretty, so of course it was easy to have him catch your attention.

Summary
“I would like to hire you for a regular job.” Over the phone, Seonghwa sounds polite and firm.
He goes on explaining the details of what he wants: someone to hang out with him every week for two hours, to accompany him to the movies or museums sometimes, someone who’d remember his birthday and get him a thoughtful gift (he’d deposit extra money for the occasion), to share a few of his interests. He wants a friend. A friend.

[ hongjoong, a college student, works as a friend for rent to make ends meet, and seonghwa, a very lonely man, hires him to emulate what he believes to be a normal friendship. ]

Summary
“They said I lied,” Hongjoong said, remembering the looks on the guards faces, the way one of them had punched him in the gut and threatened to make him regret lying.
“Did you?” omega asked. There was no curiosity in the voice, like he was asking the question just to entertain Hongjoong or be polite, not because he actually cared for the answer.
He grinned. “Well, yeah. Had I told them that I’m a pirate and I actually had robbed the facility moments ago, I’d be heading straight to the gallows.” Getting hanged really wasn’t in his plans that day. “Are you going to tell me what landed you here?”
“They say,” the voice replied, mimicking his tone, “I stabbed someone.”
“Did you?”
“If I did,” the omega said, “he was a nasty alpha and deserved it.”OR: Hongjoong meets Seonghwa in a prison cell. They're supposed to part the moment they've escaped, but life, as it happens, has other plans. Having a deadly omega on his ship might be the worst and best thing that ever happened to him.

Summary
A small crowd has gathered in the shadowed corridor leading inside from the Chancellor's private landing pad. It seems composed solely of invited guests, other senators and ambassadors from the Jedi Temple. While the walkway is lined with a dozen of the Chancellor's personal guards, there are no flocks of curious citizens trying to verify the rumors or scream their best wishes. Hongjoong can only imagine how hard the security staff is working to keep the exact location of the Chancellor’s return secret, deploying every method at their disposal, from decoys to strategically placed news items to patrolling the skies around the complex.
But that line of thought slips from his mind almost entirely when one of the members of the crowd pushes the hood of his black robe back to reveal curly hair the color of cotton candy pulled up into a half ponytail, with the rest spilling down the nape of his neck.
Outside of the occasional blurry news report on the HoloNet, it’s the first time he’s seen Seonghwa in five months.
