Summary
At some point he had visited Phil’s flat, as he often did, and ended up face down on the floor, which he did not often do. To see him lying there was absurd. There was something so deeply out of place and surreal about it. Perhaps, Phil supposed, it could have just been Dan’s dramatic way of proving a point about something he didn’t yet know. Dan was known to express his emotions theatrically, surely this could be that. The two of them would laugh about it later.
(They did not laugh about it for at least a few more weeks.)Phil drinks on the balcony to cope. Dan rots in bed. Both of them navigate Dan’s depressive episode. There’s also sarcasm and banter and smut. It’s warm and fluffy eventually. Dan is depressed but hey they’re still in love.
Set around the time Dan decides to drop out of uni.
OR
It’s the summer of 2011 and Dan is depressed. Phil is stuck at a loss while Dan isolates himself. Plus there’s smut. ;)
