Summary
For as long as Percy can remember, he’s seen things others cannot. He sees them in his dreams mostly, things from Greek mythology that he just knows is real, but can’t explain how.
Another thing that Percy sees are the monsters from Greek Myth, yet for some reason, they never hurt him. From a young age, Percy has seen and made friends with all sorts of so-called monsters.
This story will show his childhood journey, everything he sees before he goes to camp.

Summary
Percy was four years old the first time his dreams led him to his many-great-grandmother’s chambers- a woman long dead yet somehow still seated in front of him, fingers grasping at her hair tightly as she wails about a wooden horse on the beach while her servants look on in pity. He feels the weight of something ancient and heavy settle on his shoulders in that moment.
He was in his 1st grade classroom when his teacher screamed at him for making up lies about gods and monsters and scaring the other children. He was eight when his mother's own visions become too much for her to bear.
He's at Yancy when Grover Underwood finally finds him and says "I believe you" for the first time. And as Percy begins to feel lighter, that ancient weight that has followed him his whole life slowly dissipating, he realizes that being believed can be just as horrifying as being thought mad.
