    “Ay, compadre, can I have the next dance?” Javier is standing…well, no, ‘standing’ is a really generous way to put it, actually- he’s wobbling from side to side, face housing a ridiculous little grin, eyes half lidded. He’s holding out his hand in an exaggerated manner, looking up at Arthur with an expression that could be either expectant or sarcastic, the brute isn’t quite sure at this point, to be honest.

    Under more sober circumstances, he likely would’ve said no, or shrugged Javier off with a sarcastic quip, but right now? Out here, on the edge of camp, where no one’s even looking?

    “What the hell, sure.” He barks out a laugh and takes the man’s smaller but still rough and calloused hand into his own and pulls him in.
