Summary
The thing that wears the doctor's face is a monster of Owen's own making.
It had been fun, funny, at first; a fitting punishment: to take the shell that was once Legs, hollowed out by vampirism, and forge him into the very thing he feared. Satisfying, to see the moment he realised he could not escape what he was about to become.
AU where vampirism wipes all human memories, and Owen gets more than he bargains for in turning Legundo. As the days roll on and the fledging's (soldier, weapon, once-doctor) ledger runs red under his watch and still Legs doesn't remember, Owen starts to question exactly what he wants.

“For a doctor you’re very slow to self diagnose,” they bit out, giving a final yank upright and sliding around into the doctor’s vision. “You need something to eat and to sit down.”
Green eyes were covered by fluttered lashes again as Cleo growled at him, Abolish just barely catching the movement before rummaging around through his bag. “I have some potatoes but that’s about it.”
The ghost of a sad smile passed over Legundo’s face. “I- ehhh that’s… not gonna help me much.”
Right. He should’ve figured. Vampire and all. Hmmm.
In the end it was Abolish’s ears that caught the smallest intake of air, snapping his head towards Legs just as the man giddily mumbled, “I think I’m gonna pass out.”

In the aftermath of Oakhurst, Abolish returns to work, but finds himself joined by two very familiar faces. "Done with those lunatics," he definitely was not. Still, he's got a job to do, and he's going to stick at it, even with two divorced-situationship/whatever-the-hell vampires flanking him. Abolish can be professional about the whole thing. His two new coworkers, however...
AU in which Owen and Legs both survive VSMP and join Abolish in the shadow organisation. Neither are coping with working with the other in a remotely normal fashion.

Summary
The silver axe dips gently into his line of sight. “Don’t become a problem, doc.”
“He did this to me,” Legundo growls.
“And once he’s cured, we can change you back too,” Abolish says. Whatever irregularity had disquieted his heart has eased, the pulse settled back into regulated meter. The axe doesn’t move. “I don’t need to kill you.”
Owen rolls his head towards Abolish, and in the process – intentionally or not – bares his neck further. “Oh, don’t spoil the fun, Abolish. He and I both knew it would come to this. I turn him, he kills me; fitting, in the end.”
An AU oneshot where newly-turned Legundo catches up with Owen and Abolish before they reach the beacon.
