Iagooooooooooo…!” Roderigo whines, rising in both pitch and volume. “C-can we not!?”
"Christ!” the other replies, wriggling his arm out of its prison and nudging him away. “It’s just a ghost story! And not even a particularly good one, at that. Where’s my gore, where’s my women getting kidnapped, where’s my ‘Ooooh, I’m Roderigo and I’m too freaked out by some dumb urban legend to go inside a house so I’ll just die in the foyer instea-"
"I-Iago, I am this far away from punching you.”

Summary
“We are so far away from Venice,” Desdemona remarks. Her voice is soft and unsure. “Away from everything we know. Have you ever travelled this far, Emilia?”
---
A missing scene between Acts 1 and 2, composed entirely of Desdemona's anxiety about love and marriage, and Emilia's concern.

Cassio looked down at him with an uncomfortable mixture of horror and bemusement on his face.
“I knew there was a reason I don’t normally drink,” he said lightly.

Summary
The very first thing that Iago said to Emelia after they were wed was, "The sun is shining very brightly in the sky."
As this was their wedding night, she replied, "What do you mean? That is the moon and stars. It's dark out."
Emelia didn't know to shiver then when Iago stroked her cheek and said, "No, My Love, it is the sun."
Then again, she hardly knew the man to whom she'd been wed.

Has deeply unsettling parallels to Taming of the Shrew that unfortunately maketh the sense. Like I could totally see Emilia in a similar position as Katherine pre-wedding.....
From Emilia's POV. :')

Summary
"Would you be interested in getting dinner sometime?" asks Hannibal Lecter, catching an errant strand of hair between her lacquered nails and replacing it neatly in her bun.
Will gives her a look from under his eyelashes, as though that might somehow protect him. "I feel like I should be the one asking you."
A light smile flits across Hannibal's mouth. "You might have noticed, Mr Graham," she says, "but I'm about as far from traditional as you can get."

Summary
I was watching an adaptation of Macbeth and decided I wanted someone to make a decent academic case for Macbeth being angrily in love with Banquo (really just very tired of the continual "Lady Macbeth was totes manipulating him with her VAGINA MAGIC" interpretations) and EffieNell told me to; I have had it to my eyeballs and never want to have to write an essay about Shakespeare ever again, especially not Macbeth, so... I wrote this. Instead.
