Summary

It was fucked up. Kreese’s Cobra Kai was a vipers nest where he pitted his students against each other to compete for his respect and favor. Under that kind of pressure, nearly all the original students had been supplanted by hardier, meaner stock. Natural Cobras, Twig had called them.
Robby had already cast his lot with Cobra Kai, so he’d worked doubly hard to secure his position in the tribe. What other choice did he have?

Summary

Johnny and Daniel must work together to survive, and find a way to rescue Robby from Kreese’s wartime Cobra Kai. Along the way, Johnny discovers Daniel isn’t at all who he thought he was.

“We could do it again.” Daniel doesn’t know he’s going to say it until it’s out of his mouth, barrels on before his good sense can catch up with his pounding heart. “It doesn’t — we don’t have to like each other for it to be — good.” Good. What a fucking understatement.
Daniel would be worried about the undersell if it weren’t for the way that Johnny’s looking at him now. His mouth curls slowly, eyes going half-lidded. If he were a girl Daniel might call that look coy. He might have to call it that anyway.
“You want it bad, huh,” Johnny says, and the rich hungry amusement in his voice strikes like a match right down Daniel’s skin. Daniel’s shoulders snap back, his chin up.
“Seem to remember you wanting it pretty bad yourself,” he bites out, and this time when he looks deliberately at Johnny’s mouth he knows they’re both thinking about the exact same moment, Johnny bending his head down and opening up for Daniel’s cock.
