“Keith, we need to talk,” he’d said, trying to speak loud enough that Keith could hear him over the training bots attacking him. “End training sequence!”“Nothing to talk about,” he growled, shoving past Shiro.
He grabbed his arm as gently as he could but it didn’t matter. Keith flinched and scowled, ripping his arm away. “I’m serious, Keith.”
“So am I.” But he stopped, jaw clenched. “What do you want?”
“This isn’t healthy. The training, avoiding everyone, not eating-”
The fury was back. “You don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Summary
Keith is launched into space with only the clothes on his back and the knife his mother left him. What he didn’t have on him were the things he needs to manage his disorder. Since he was eight years old, he has suffered with Epilepsy. He was finally getting the help he needed to treat it, when suddenly he’s a billion miles away from home and the things he needs. Knowing what will result from that is completely terrifying.
He expects his new team to resent him for his disorder and it putting everyone in additional danger. What he definitely didn’t expect is how they actually reacted after finding out.
Keith and his team learn how to navigate this unique and difficult situation. The team also helps Keith unlearn all the lies about Epilepsy he learned growing up. One being that Epilepsy makes him too hard to love.
