Summary
Gojo Satoru had expected many things from the Inumaki clan, and none of them were good.
So when he walks into the council chamber and see with his eyes Inumaki 'mad dog' Kishibe and his infamous nephew, he prepares accordingly.
Inevitably at some point of the discussion, he dramatically rolls his eyes behind his white bandages.
Here it comes. The boring speech about obedience, legacy, loyalty and whatnot.
But Kishibe doesn't do that.
Instead, he ignores the elders and turns to Toge.
"Do you want to go?"
Satoru blinks. Actually blinks.

“Hey!” A voice shouts, so close to Noritoshi that it jolts him from his thoughts. He looks up just in time to see the first year girl from Tokyo—Kugisaki, was it?—rip his book from his hand and toss it aside. Before he can even complain, she shoves one of the video game controllers into his hands. “You haven’t played at all yet, so it’s your turn now!”
“I don’t—”
“C’mon, Kamo-san,” Maki interrupts. “Get that stick out of your ass. Stop being a Clan Heir for an hour and just play the game.”
the night before the exchange event, the kyoto & tokyo students stay up late playing video games. noritoshi finds himself developing some unexpected feelings when inumaki helps him out.

Summary
Jujutsu sorcerers die young. That’s a fact. Inumaki jujutsu sorcerers die even younger, die more often, die stranded and stupid and misguided. They suddenly keel over on missions and in family homes and on the street and in the Japanese countryside. Toge has very few cousins, only one that’s close to his age. His own grandfather is the oldest cursed speech user to ever live, the next closest died in her fifties and had taken a thirty year vow of silence.
Cursed speech inherently means death for its wielder. It cracks up through the larynx and burns its way out of the mouth, ripping tissue out to make room for power. Cursed speech users do not usually make it to middle age. They die burned by their cursed technique in their own blood filled mouths.
Most likely, Toge will follow suit.
Or, There's a lot more to the Inumaki Clan than their name and an inherited curse technique. Toge, for example, would have neither if he had it his way.
