Perhaps this was a good sign. A step in the right direction and away from his downwards spiral of uuuggghhhh. Because the way Mettaton saw it, he now had one of two options.
One: retreat to the lukewarm comforts of a lumpy couch until he became one with the cushions and waited until the inevitable heat death of the universe collapsed onto him to finally end the soul-crushing boredom.
Or two: watch whatever the hell was on his newly acquired TV.
Alone and bored to death, Mettaton looks for a way to pass the time while the Internet is down. Good news, he does. Bad news... uh, it’s totally normal to want to kiss your recently acquired TV, right? (asking for a friend, haha...)

Are you quite sure you’re alright?” Hazel barely resists the urge to grab the mousegirl and wrap her up in her arms—an instinct born from years of cuddling tiny chipmunks and being a cuddled tiny chipmunk herself, settling at wringing her furry paws together. Bitsy had stumbled over her own feet and narrowly missed falling into the waiting arms of a stiff patissiere costume, which would be alarming even without their discovery that most of the display stands were actually perverts.
Bitsy pulls herself up and pats her apron down. “Oh hi, Misty!” She’s been greeting everyone like it’s the first time they’ve met since the dungeon, I mean infirmary, but it’s unclear if that’s a symptom of the peanut allergy, the suspicious treatment, or the usual Bitsy-ness.
Hazel Nut has felt strange ever since visiting the dungeon, I mean infirmary, and she wasn't even the critter being treated. She'll just have to keep watch over Bitsy while ignoring the butterflies in her stomach, but she's finding out that healers make the worst patients.
