Summary
Pedri is standing in front of a bathroom mirror, the lighting yellow and unflattering enough that Ferran suspects he has taken the picture without much thought. His hair is still platinum. He is also shirtless, because apparently there are no longer laws governing what Pedri is allowed to send Ferran at one fourteen in the morning.
“Joder,” he murmurs, and it somehow echoes in the room.
Ferran forces his eyes back at Pedri’s face, and that’s when he notices there’s a text beneath the photograph;
A Lannister always keeps his promise. Or whatever they said in that stupid show you watched.
He laughs. It escapes before he can stop it, and it sounds almost foreign to his ears.
It’s ‘ a Lannister always pays his debts’, he types, before he can stop himself, and after a moment he adds, And you look more Targaryen anyway.
Or; Ferran returns home after winning the World Cup and things are much, much worse than they were before he left. He had no idea that was even possible...

Summary
"Pedri, if it were up to me, I would not be talking to you right now."
"Don't be cruel," Pedri said, his voice strained. "You have the right to be angry, but don't hurt me out of spite. This isn't you."
"You want to talk about hurting someone?" Ferran asked, his breathing getting heavier with the anger he felt. "You who ripped me from the inside out the moment you saw an obstacle in our way? You who left me to pick up the pieces of my being all alone in Paris when I needed you by my side more than ever? Why should I have to tread carefully around you when you showed no care for me?"
Or: Ferran and Pedri see each other for the first time since Ferran's transfer.

Summary
What begins as a transforming love between Dean Winchester and Castiel Novak in the summer of 1965 quickly derails into something far more tumultuous when Dean is drafted in the Vietnam War. Though the two both voice their relationship is one where saying goodbye is never a real truth, their story becomes fraught with the tragedy of circumstance. In an era where homosexuality was especially vulnerable, Twist and Shout is the story of the love transcending time, returning over and over in its many forms, as faithful as the sea.
