Summary
Hearing Kyouji talk about Satomi’s “future girlfriend” makes Satomi’s stomach churn and his skin crawl. He shakes his head vigorously, wrapping his arms around himself. “Don’t want that.”
“Don’t want what?” Kyouji asks with a chuckle. “A girlfriend?”
Satomi nods, looking away from Kyouji. No matter that it’s the first time Satomi’s ever admitted to anyone – even to himself – that he doesn’t want what every other boy his age wants.
“Hm,” Kyouji hums, the tone sounding like he was browsing the items on sale at the grocery store. Casually contemplative. Perhaps, not at all surprised. “Alright, then.”
Satomi asks Kyouji to teach him something every young boy should learn how to do. He soon learns a lot more than he expected.

Summary
Kyouji knows what kind of boy Satomi is: a bit of a cry-baby, tears up whenever he’s faced with an uncomfortable situation, heightened teenage emotions striking like lightning, leaping through his entire body, leaving scorch marks behind and tear-tracks on his pinked up cheeks.
There are also the dismaying changes happening to his body, to his voice, choir boys don’t have it easy in the first place, but then layer the hormonal changes on top with a fresh smear of harrowing uncertainty as adulthood looms ever nearer and the agony crescendoes to a deafening note.

Or, being a teenager has never been easy. It's probably exponentially more difficult if a man like Narita Kyouji refuses to leave you alone.

Kyouji looks his way, raises his eyebrows, a familiar expression. “Oh, him? He’s just a stray cat I feed sometimes.”
These things are true: Mammals require air. Polar bears have black skin. Platypuses lay eggs; so do echidnas. Some snakes can asexually reproduce. Oka Satomi wants Narita Kyouji like a cat wants a nice patch of sunlight.
