Summary
Red had a simple plan: give her best friend, Maddox, the ultimate birthday present: a perfect date. After all, Maddox worked far too hard as the Queen's personal royal advisor and deserved a little peace.

Summary
Red had an unwavering faith: she truly believed that Maddox could be saved. Even when the former villain kept getting into absurd trouble and breaking castle rules, the girl insisted on defending her friend. After all, she had promised Max that she would help her father, and she was going to keep that promise no matter what.
There was just one thing Red didn't know: Maddox didn't need any help.
Everything changed the day a petty fight in the courtyard ended with Maddox being dragged in handcuffs to the royal office. In that office, something happened, sending a chill down Maddox's spine and awakening an instant, dangerous, and uncontrollable addiction in him.
Now, to everyone else, he was still the same unstable villain. Nobody understood the reason behind his crazy actions.
While Red blindly bent over backward to protect her friend's "redemption," Maddox was merely calculating his next crime. After all, any chaos was worth it, as long as it got him back alone with his Queen.
