Chance groaned quietly, rolling onto their back and fishing for their phone somewhere within the pile of blankets. When they found it, the screen was lit up with two missed calls– both from their partner.
Well, shit.
“I’m not leaving,” iTrapped's voice came again, tone unwavering as ever. “Open the damn door.”
They coughed briefly, then pushed up from their elbow to try and sit up, but the motion and effort only made their head spin. They flopped back down with a lazy whine. Yeah, they weren’t getting up. “... Spare key’s under the mat. Come on in.”
A beat of silence. Probably disbelief.
Then quiet rustling.
Then– "You've gotta be kidding me."
