I feel like this summer, I have laughed harder than I have laughed… In a really long time. And he's smart. Way smarter than me, you know, he can crack, like top secret Russian codes and… You know, he’s honestly unlike anyone I’ve ever even met before.” Beverly took a deep breath and stopped for a moment, waiting for a response. “Richie?” She asked after a moment of silence.

Summary
Fourteen year old Richie Tozier sat at his desk, pulling out some colored paper from a very unorganized drawer. He pulled out a small, wrinkled post it from his pocket. On the post it, in very messy handwriting was complex directions to fold an origami flower. It was the night before Valentine’s Day and Richie wanted to do something very special for Eddie this year. It was their first Valentine’s Day together and Richie had the perfect idea: because eddies mom didn’t let Richie give Eddie real flowers because of his “sickness,” Richie was going to make Eddie his own flowers.
Or Eddie’s mom doesn’t allow Richie to give Eddie flowers because of his “sickness,” so, Richie makes him some paper flowers instead.

Eddie slowly opened the door to his boyfriend, who was still smiling. “What are you doing here, Rich?” Eddie asked, smiling as well. “Thought I would come and give my Eddie Spaghetti a little visit! I haven’t seen him in forever!” Richie replied, flopping onto Eddie’s bed. “It’s one o’clock in the morning, the middle of summer, and we saw each other a few hours ago at Bill’s house.” Eddie replied, “And that’s not my name, don't call me that.” He added. “Ya know ya love it,” Richie said, Eddie blushing. “Well then, what are you doing here?” Eddie asked, knowing the answer was going to start out, “well, you see me and your mom…” And he was right. “Well, you see, me and your mom were having some fun, I hope we didn’t wake you, Eddie Bear-“ “Beep Beep fuckface.” Eddie said, automatically. “Seriously, why are you here, you never are awake at this time.”
Richie stared at some weird spot on Eddies wall, not answering the question.
