Summary
Michael Kaiser indulges in hurting Alexis Ness; he tells himself he will never love someone as pathetic as him. He would rather lose Ness forever than admit he was wrong, even if it's just once. Maybe their love wasn't as strong as Ness thought if Kaiser would rather let go of the one he truly loves than be proved wrong. All the thoughts that run through his head, and only one reaches him entirely. "I can live without Ness. He's so replaceable." He believed that entirely until it finally happened. How much more mental and physical abuse can Ness take before he finally reaches his limit? How much longer will it take Kaiser to finally realize how to love Ness the way he deserves? But maybe Kaiser is already too late.

Summary
The morning after I killed myself, I woke up.

Kenma Kozume is dead.
He killed himself with the bottle of sleeping pills he saved up from his monthly tips to the pharmacy, the plastic container in one hand and note in the other, apologising for the loss of his parents and his friends.
So why, he wonders, does he find himself staring back up at the ceiling the very next day, in between the void of the living and the dead.
His sister is still at school, studying for the tests both her older siblings had passed before her, his brother working hard at university to finish his degree. He wonders if they’ve gotten the news yet.
He looks out the window, and observes, seeing for the first time the world outside the glass panes that he left behind, and he cries.
