Summary
One of the things Riyo thoroughly enjoys, enough to make time in her daily schedule for, is annoying Zanka. She does this through teasing him, going out of her way to say good morning or good night, striking up a conversation whenever they see each other, or maybe even initiating light touches. Or, for example, plotting to crash in his bedroom at HQ for the night.
And if she happens to impulsively include a wandering Rudo in the halls, then so be it.

“I,” Eishia hesitates, and her grip tightens slightly. “I haven’t told them yet, but they’ve all been pacing outside since you got back. Over two hours, now.”
“I don’t need to tell them, I’ll just… stay here. Get over it, start trainin’ again so it don’t happen again,” Zanka mutters. “’m fine, I don’t need to be coddled.”
“It’s not coddling, its called healing Zan-Zan,” Riyo’s lilting voice comes from… the doorway? “How ya feeling?”

They’d been on the road for a little over an hour when Gris’s voice buzzed over Enjin’s collar:
“Enjin, is Zanka in your car?”
(Gris’s voice through the collar was unusually urgent, for such a stupid question).
“He’s in your car,” Enjin replied calmly, not taking his eyes off the rumbling road ahead.
Gris’s comm link was still open (Enjin could hear some indistinct but frantic-sounding chatter from Follo and some of the other Supporters in the background), but the man himself made no reply.
“He’s in your car, isn’t he?” repeated Enjin. His eyes reflexively flicked up to the mirror, to the empty seat behind the front passenger seat that was usually (if unofficially) reserved for Nijiku Zanka.
“…We thought he was in your car.”
