Summary
Severus Snape had a friend. An imperturbable bitch with a sarcastic sneer to match his own. Petronella Blishwick didn’t like most people, but Severus was not most people. Their friendship had lasted through war, and loss, and tragedy. But then something had changed. A series of events that brought them closer than they ever expected.
Harry Potter had never had anyone care about him. Of all the people that could have helped him, it had been the intimidating Potions Master, and the peculiar Charms Professor that saw through the boy-who-lived to the vulnerable child underneath.
As Harry enters his second year at Hogwarts the tenuous relationships the three of them have built will be tested. Trust that had been broken must be earned back. Feelings that they only reluctantly allow themselves to acknowledge will be challenged.
And as if that wasn’t enough, somebody plans to open an ancient chamber and release a terrifying beast into the school. If anyone manages to survive the school year, either physically or emotionally, it will be a miracle!

Summary
Severus Snape has a friend. A grumpy bitch of a friend with a scowl to match his own, a punk attitude, and a dark sense of humour. How will his character arc be changed by having a co-conspirator who won't take his shit, but will give him a hug?
I plan to rewrite the entire series with the inclusion of my O/C. This first part is a prequel & first year, spanning 1986-1991, but including some flash backs to 1980.
Petronella Blishwick attended Hogwarts in the marauders era, was damaged by the war, and though gifted with charms never found her way in the world. When an old friend shows up to bring her back to the Wizarding World it will change the course of all of their lives.
There will be laughter, tears, teen angst, teacher angst, emotional highs and lows; as characters and their relationships are changed and tested. All rolled up with plenty of acerbic comments, dry humour and kick ass magic!
Expect some emotional Snape & Harry moments towards the end to set up for a closer relationship between the two in the future... plus some fun and cute Draco moments.
