Songs of death, songs of torture, songs of world destruction, ballads of horror.Wednesday was ashamed to say that she might have accidentally convinced Enid that she was upset with her. She was also ashamed to realize why. To Wednesday those themes were perfectly romantic, Enid definitely had a different notion of romance.
Book number sixteen was set on fire, not for its own content but for Wednesday’s frustration with her mistake.
Book seventeen suggested she asked Enid’s friends about her interests. That would very much not be happening. Enid considered them friends, so was she not a good source on the subject?

If Enid was involved in any way it would be mostly due to Wednesday's sharp tongue. So it came to her surprise when Enid confronted her about exploring the supernatural without any kind of manipulation.
