I’ve seen a lot of conflicting opinions about this episode on various forums. Personally, I liked it. I’m sorry about Dani—he was a good character—but his death opens a powerful opportunity for the writers to put Scola’s emotions back on a razor’s edge (and to give the actor space to show his dramatic range). I also hope we’ll see Maggie and OA supporting him through grief, helping him move forward, and growing even closer as friends. My story aims to depict one of the very first beats of that journey. I hope you enjoy it.
