Ei closed her eyes for a moment. She knew that Yae was right. Still, she didn’t quite like it, but she guessed that she had to learn to endure it.
“I’ll tolerate these arrangements,” Ei finally said, and she held Yae’s steady gaze. “But I will be warning you once, and once only. I don’t need the company of others when I do my job.”
Yae flashed her a fox-like smile.

literally my fuel for kafhime. this (besides the early art) is what started it all. each ending to each loop, each individual loop honestly, disintegration or not. and honestly, just kafka. how she's written and the ability to romanticize everything even of death. pls just read.
