    Summary

Lanolin is at rock bottom after the disaster of the Clean Sweepstakes Race. Heading up the Emeraldville Rebuilding project alongside the gradually re-constructing Restoration would be a staggering workload even for someone who wasn't wracked with guilt, unresolved trauma, and serious self-destructive addictions. This has made her an easy target for Surge, who can't resist taking advantage of a girl with issues. Shockingly, this arrangement is unsustainable, and no matter how bad things start out, they can always get worse...

    Summary

She shakes her head with disappointment, “No no, this won't do at all. How are you supposed to find yourself a husband looking like this? This disgusting overweight body of fat…” The older sheep tuts with disgust. “No man would ever find this attractive enough to want you.”

…Was it really that bad? Lanolin attempts to examine her body with an equally critical eye her mother has. It didn't look bad. It just… looked like her.

(Or: Lanolin's mom is a fatphobic asshole who thought she could get away with the same shit at the Restoration.)
