"Wait. I didn't even get your name."
Will turns to Chance. That feels like a line straight out a clichè romance movie, when the male lead asks the girl her name at the end of the night,he thinks. Then immedialty trashes the thought, because why the hell is he even comparing Chance to the main charachter of a romantic movie? And himself to the love interest? Will cringes at his own thoughts.
"It's Will. Will Byers."
A expression of surprise and recognigion passes Chance's face. Will's seen it tons of times before everytime he introduces himself to new people. He can practically see them connecting the dots in their heads.
November 1983. Missing person flyers all over Hawkins. An empty coffin. Zombie boy. William Byers.
It's unpleasent, because Will's mind is immediatly flooded with memories he does not want to remember.
