Wei Wuxian halted, aiming to stop his lips and voice from wobbling, "For him to burst the way he did; it could have never been something as simple as a misunderstanding."
Lan Sizhui simply felt his body crumble into welcoming arms. He mourned for losing his parent once more.
"This... please, Lan Yuan, prove him wrong." Wei Wuxian said lastly, before he rocked them both.
This was not Lan Sizhui's fault. It was not Lan Wangji's fault, either, however he did not know that.
