Fully aware there’s at least three different cameras on them forever immortalizing his suffering, Katsuki gets on one knee. “I just want you to know this is your fault,” he tells Shouto, somehow unable to stifle the urge to smile at his wide-eyed stare anyway, “it’s your fucking fault I don’t have a ring on me and that I didn’t make dinner for us beforehand and that we’re—here, doing it like this, but—but I love you, you idiot, so. Fucking marry me.”
Shouto blinks. “That wasn’t a question,” he says. “I can’t—I don’t think I’m allowed to say yes unless you actually ask me.”
Or: Katsuki asks Shouto to marry him. On national television, because nothing in his life ever happens as planned.

Aizawa doesn’t look happy. Lord, he doesn’t look happy at all. Any evidence of fatigue and façade has been swiped from his face completely—Replaced by a pin-pricked annoyance; One no doubt caused by Shouto. His jaw is clenched, the muscles move too tightly, and Todoroki can almost swear that he sees a vein pop from his teacher’s forehead.
But, something else is there, too. Something boiling. Something akin to question, akin to suspicion, akin to circumstance. Skepticism licks at the corners of Aizawa’s dry lips, the fingers on top of his arms twitch with a beholden urge. An inquiry is in the cards for Shouto.
First, though—
“Todoroki.” Aizawa’s voice sounds like a knife. Shouto braces for the cut. “Do you want to explain why the right side of my classroom looks like a winter wonderland?”

Katsuki is not in the habit of rescuing defenseless furry things from the elements and then bringing them home and giving them a shower at the risk of his own health. The one currently taking up bed space is—an exception. Special, or whatever. Because, no matter how pathetically fucking embarrassing it is to admit, the cat reminds Katsuki of a certain Christmas-themed pretty boy.
Mismatched eyes. Fur that feels just as soft to the touch as Katsuki imagines running his hands through Todoroki’s hair would. (Because yeah, he does imagine that. Sometimes.) Glares just like him too, the little bastard.
“Guess you’re as much of a princess as he is, too.”
