“Kacchan!”
By the time he turned his head, it was already too late. Nothing but white filled his vision as everything seemed to spin violently around him.
Great. Their one job was to not get hit by that bastard’s quirk, and yet Bakugou had done exactly that.
“Word has it that he can manipulate timelines, but we don’t know how exactly. I cannot stress this enough: be careful.”
So much for that. Though, what did they think was gonna happen? That Bakugou wouldn’t rush headfirst into a fight? Yeah right.
The air was forced from his lungs as he collided harshly with the linoleum bathroom floor. Where the hell was he? Two seconds ago, he’d been in the middle of a villain fight downtown. Somebody gasped in the corner, and Bakugou was immediately on his feet and alert, searching for whoever made the sound.
The last thing he expected was to lock eyes with Deku, except it wasn’t his Deku. No, he was standing across from a younger version of the man, who still wore the Aldera uniform.

Summary
“Bakugou,” Recovery Girl scolded as she grabbed his shoulders to steady him. “What are you doing?”
“Bakugou?” he echoed in confusion, but his voice came out wrong. “I’m not…”
Deku lifted his hands, and he would recognize those hands anywhere.
Either he was having a strangely vivid dream, or he and Bakugou had somehow swapped bodies.
“You’re Midoriya, aren’t you?” Recovery Girl sighed.
——
Or, when Bakugou and Deku get hit with a body-swapping quirk, they learn a little bit more about each other's struggles.

Summary
There is a green-haired boy with a blindfold. He’s got a pistol in his hand.
(He’s got a pistol to his head).Six chambers. One bullet. No will to live, no reason to stay.
There’s a crowd watching the stage he stands on. He hears them, the whisper of fabric, the low murmur and brushing of hands. Money exchanging hands. His hand doesn’t waver.
Why don’t we raise the stakes?
Otherwise known as: Izuku plays Russian Roulette as a form of highly illegal entertainment for an anonymous crowd gambling on his life. He doesn’t have much to lose.

Summary
Shouta is called in for a domestic abuse report with a potentially dangerous Quirk.
He isn't expecting to know the child involved, not at all.~~~
And so here Shouta is, still damp but more dry than not again now, knocking on the pointed-out door (he hasn't missed the very, very faint sound of something slamming, of what might be a woman or girl crying, but it's nothing conclusive). It takes almost a full minute, but then there are footsteps, heavy, before the door is pulled open, and a man with a charming smile and cold eyes is greeting him. Surely the suspect.
(Something about the freckles on his cheeks is familiar, and the dark curls of his hair; it goes ignored in favour of noticing how rough the man's knuckles are where he holds the edge of the door, by how he's angled to block any possible view within the flat. It's suspicious, to say the least.)

Summary
Izuku wasn’t having a very good day.
That was clear when he had bumped into several different people in the hallways of UA High, waving his arms around in frenzied apology after each time.
It was clear when simple instruction from his teachers (that he enthusiastically enjoyed talking and listening too) weren’t processing fast enough in his head, and put him behind his hardworking ‘heroes-to-be’ peers.
Clear, when the smallest change in plans and schedule made him want to jump 20 feet in the air out of his own skin, while simultaneously having a river rush of tears pouring out his eyes.
So… all in all, today wasn’t a good day for Izuku.
