    Their gifts manifested, called them away to their higher purposes. Some of them left their friends behind. Some didn't. It depended on the person. It depended on their gift.

    When Harry was gifted in fourth year, Hermione never imagined he'd leave her behind.

    Some of the Chosen had yet to rise to their divine purpose, bringing many of the magical pantheon to Hogwarts in search of them. Hermione hoped to get through seventh year without thinking about Hades, never mind seeing him in person for the first time in years. Against her better judgement, she agreed to help him plan a wedding present for his lost bride. Their healing friendship could only last until he found Persephone, of course.

    A shame really. Winter was far more pleasant with the God of the Underworld by her side.

    The Greek Mythology x HP crossover no one asked for but dang if it isn't good. It may be a one shot, but plenty of solid background/world building which will have you hungering for more.

    “That whole Merchant of Death thing,” someone off to the side faux whispers, “makes a lot more sense now.”

    I never knew I needed IronMom until I read this fic. No romance, just all the family feels.

    Well developed background, plot, and characterization... and somehow more realistic than a Sci Fi fanfic fix-it has any right to be. I believe it more than canon. Plot holes? What plot holes?

    Such a unique perspective on magic, combining some ideas of such rituals from IRL and the world of HP. A more practical take on a forced coupling with decent foundation for world building and plot. Considering the concept, the plot strangely overpowers the smut in all the right ways.

    Most believable character development and plot if Draco switched sides. We love a good character redemption arc. Definitely not a fix-it.
