omgg such a cute story!! i love how the author wrote their relationship! its very sweet and wholesome and they're both very kind to each other. they also consider a lot of day to day things about the relationship that i've never thought of before and how the whole symbiote thing works. i love the worldbuilding leading up to the 2 chickens like in the movie! i love the proposal too omg....

The rush of caffeine had him sighing with pleasure and he heard a faint tinkling sound from behind him. It was a little late for Salvation Army Santas to still be out but Eddie wouldn’t put it past them. He hated the sound of those fucking bells, though.

oh my GOD THIS RIGHT HERE THIS IS THE BEST written dynamic of their toxic but improving relationship i have EVER read so far 😭😭😭🫶🫶
i literally felt so much dread and sadness reading the parts before this seeing how badly eddie spirals and responds so aggressively to venom.... i really could feel his emotions. the way you wrote how his depression basically consumes and takes over him and changes him into a completely different person... PEAK...... 😞😞
the fact that eddie has these aggressive (almost abusive) tendencies in a relationship reflects whatever his father showed him in their home environment, compiled with the fact that venom is an alien creature from space that would not know how to reply in a sensitive way to de-escalate the tension resulted in the situation blowing up to this extreme... i really love how you were able to capture all that through the dialogue 😭😭 this final chapter has eddie acting like a completely different person, because those self hating thoughts are no longer around with venom protecting and letting eddie know he's loved. it's so good seeing eddie honest with himself.
which is why this final chapter was such an amazing carthasis after the horribly cold and vicious (but very realistic!!) way they treated each other before this. this was straight up fire because the progression from toxic, radioactive unhealthy relationship to something in the works and much healthier was very natural and realistic!! it reminds me of their arc in the comics which went from toxic dependency to something warmer and more trusting

yet another thoughtful eddie and venom fic!! unlike the other fics which seem to deal with the unhealthy codependence/lack of communication the 2 have, the relationship in here is pretty healthy. they avoid and try to get things to go back to how it was, and there's actually progress in the relationship. i'd say the bumbling mess thats eddie wouldn't react in such a way, but it's so nice to read about! also, the sorta body worship in the 1st work was so good. "To cover Eddie’s skin, to hide in Eddie’s bones, to nestle in his lungs and travel through his blood and shoot out the slit of his cock when he comes. Within and without."
this reads so much more like 60% fluff 40% smut, it's very sweet... the 1st part was also really good in its own right, the subtle description of how eddie is affected made me sad, and it made me 😭❤️ to see how venom tried to respect that boundary.
