Summary
Terzo remembers the feeling of the needle plunging into his neck, the stinging, warm feeling of the tranquilizer entering his bloodstream. He remembers staring at his brothers, watching as their heads hit the table before he followed suit. He remembers the fear in his heart as he watched his brothers receive their lethal injections, watching their bodies slump in their chairs, heads hanging forward, completely still. He remembers watching them as he received his own; his head swirling, limbs going numb, panic rising in his chest. He remembers trying desperately to escape, writhing against the restraints, tugging on them hard enough that he was sure he would bruise.
And then he remembers nothing.

Summary
The thirty minutes left in the sermon crawl painfully slowly by, and by the end of it, he’s the first one out of his seat and out of the nave. Per Clergy standards, all of the Papas, both former and current, are required to stay afterwards to receive Satanic blessings from the congregation. He couldn’t care less; if getting out of that room and back into his quarters, with his hand and some lube meant he had to deal with Nihil’s bullshit later, he would happily take the verbal lashing.
But it’s never that easy, is it?

Summary
Carcadia Burn was aptly named; the searing sun beamed down against his skin, scorching the barren wasteland ahead of him. The new Vault Hunters were spry young things, kicking ass and taking names just like he’d done all those years ago. Him and Amara wouldn’t have succeeded if it wasn’t for their help.
He still has his job as Moxxi’s bouncer; the two had taken off in the direction of Carcadia Burn after his blow-up with the Sanctuary team. He’d taken a small break from Moxxi’s after The Timekeeper had been defeated, intending to check some things off of his checklist; mend bridges with Amara, wrap things up with Levaine, and…well, look for Fl4k.

Summary
The Ministry couldn’t leave the band without a frontman. He had originally petitioned to simply do both jobs, Papa and Frater. But in the same document that his mother had drafted, the same one that had given him the demotion to Frater, outlined the future replacement plan for the Papacy. So, on top of his mother dying, and being stripped of his titles, he had to grapple with the fact that his replacement was a twin brother he never knew existed.
If he were anyone else, he might feel a twinge of excitement at the prospect. But he wasn’t anyone else. He was Copia. To others, he was Cardinal. Papa Emeritus IV. Frater Imperator. But right now, in the quiet veil of the moonlight bleeding through the small windows surrounding him, he was Copia.

Summary
The weather was calm for once. After an incredibly hot summer in New York, the leaves had started to settle on the ground as the feeling of autumn crumbled over the bustling city. You were sitting in a flower field, nestled off the jogging path of the tower. A book laid in your lap. long forgotten by you as you watched the flowers sway in the cool breeze. It was cool enough for jeans, but warm enough for a regular t-shirt. Your eyes peeled away from the trees and returned them to the book you had brought. It was an old, battered, leather-bound copy of Romeo and Juliet.
A gift from the trickster God himself.

Summary
The door of your bedroom closed with a heavy slam, rattling your head more than it already had been. Your breathing was labored, your hands shaking as you let your jacket slip off your body and onto the floor. People had been bombarding you with questions from the minute you walked in, but you were too shaken up to focus on any of them. You kicked your converse off and let them fly across the room, hitting the wall with a loud smack. Standing in the middle of the room, you tried your hardest to calm your breathing. Hot tears streamed down your face, a choking sound coming out every time you tried to speak.
