    Peter paused.

    Something was off.

    His ears caught the sound of something skittering and his heart skipped a beat. It was probably just a mouse or something. He’d have to tell Mister-

    That sixth sense went off, and Peter ducked.

    Nothing happened. Nothing sailed overhead.

    His heart was in his throat and Peter stood again. It was like he was disoriented, and the world was too big to sharp but completely empty and silent.
